Click to enlarge. I did some additional work on the skin tone and also adding more detail to what she is sitting on. I also added a bit of a dark brown to the back ground, but I don't think it shows much.

Commission Procedure and Prices

My current procedure is to take pictures of the subjects who are local to me, or work from existing photos. Existing photos have to have enough detail for me to work from. I would have to review existing photos to determine whether they are adequate. If they can be enlarged to 5x7 or 8x10, that would be helpful. Digital pictures would be great for ease of enlarging and can be emailed.
If you would like to use an existing professional photo, you would need permission from the photographer because of copyright issues.

For B&W graphite or charcoal, single subject head & shoulders:

Starting at $475 and up*.

For color pencil, single subject head & shoulders:

$695 and up*

Add'l body and backgrounds will be add'l cost based on complexity. Each add'l subject will be 10% less than original subject

50% deposit due at beginning of process. Deposit is not refundable after work has begun.

*Note: All prices are subject to change. Other mediums may be offered in the future. Ask about add'l subjects and sizes.

Retainer deposits will be held for up to 6 months. If the portrait has not been arranged to begin within those 6 months, the deposit will be returned.
